Today we announced that 21 social and marketing technology vendors have joined the Gigya NEXUS Partner Ecosystem to allow our clients to leverage social data for their marketing campaigns.
We also announced integration with the Backplane Protocol, which allows Gigya’s social infrastructure technology to directly communicate with other on-site technology vendors like Disqus and Livefyre. Together, these integrations and partnerships help our clients take full advantage of Gigya’s platform and allow them to seamlessly port consumer identity data into marketing campaigns.
How it Works
Our NEXUS Partner Ecosystem helps businesses make the most of their Gigya implementations by making it possible to apply social data to marketing initiatives. For example, clients can segment user data obtained through Social Login and Registration-as-a-Service and port this data into marketing automation platforms like Marketo to send hyper-targeted email campaigns.
In addition, our Backplane integration allows Gigya’s technologies (like Social Login) to seamlessly communicate and integrate with other Backplane-compliant on-site application vendors. For instance, sites that use Livefyre, Disqus, or other Backplane-compliant commenting systems can use Gigya’s Social Login to power social authentication on these commenting systems. Letting users comment using their existing social identities can reduce spam on content threads, encourage social sharing, and increase referral traffic.
